A tailored, five-step approach to maximising your property’s potential

At Melbourne Property Staging Co., we’ve worked alongside hundreds of homeowners and real estate professionals to style their property for a successful and profitable sale.

Our experience has helped us to create a unique, five-step process that ensures we cover off on all the essential elements required to style a property. This process is flexible and takes into account your property’s features, your ideal buyers, and your budget.

Here’s how we make the magic happen in 5 easy steps below:

1. We organise an in-home consultation and quotation

The best way for our team to deliver our services is to explore your space. Our initial one hour consultation, we assess your property onsite or via photos and site plans and provide recommendations on how to best showcase your property for sale.

We’ll learn all about your property — its features — so we can tailor a plan that will showcase its beauty and tell a cohesive story.

Within 24 hours of our visit, you’ll receive a comprehensive quotation outlining the furniture and accessories we’ll use to best style and stage your property.

2. We’ll send you our home preparation checklist

Once you’ve agreed to our quote, we’ll send you a list of things to do to ensure we can efficiently style your property on your installation date. This will include:

  • Removing all existing furniture (for a full styling service) or a full declutter (for partial styling)
  • Organising a professional clean of the property, or thoroughly cleaning it yourself
  • Key handover — either through your real estate agent or pre-organised with our team.

 

If you need help removing and storing your furniture, our team can provide you with a separate quote for this service, including a discounted storage rate with a partnered storage company.

3. We’ll stage and style

From there, you can relax knowing your space will be styled to perfection by our expert team. We’ll organise dthe elivery of all furniture, artwork and accessories and a team to set them up in our agreed-upon layout, ready for photos.

The entire process usually takes between two and four hours to complete (depending on the size of the property), and we’ll let you know when we’ve finished.

You’ll have a chance to walk through your property to ensure you’re completely satisfied before your first open home or inspection.

4. We offer a 6/8/10 weeks hire period

Once your furniture and accessories have been installed, your hire period will begin. In the unlikely event that you need your furniture longer, we are more than happy to provide you with a quote to extend the hire on a weekly rental period.

5. Your house is sold! We’ll de-stage & pack up

Once your property is sold (our goals is achieved), we’ll be in touch with you to organise the removal of all elements from your property. We’ll hand over the keys and have a short post-installation consultation with you to find out more about your experience working with us.

If you love our work, we can also organise professional organising or interior design services to turn your new property into a home.
